tsuwm used yesterday the phrase "inkhorn terms." And then I thought of portmanteau words.
Are there other phrases describing words or word phrases that use other objects to describe such phrases?

Okay--I finally realize what you're asking for, I think. To me, your question was like one of those hidden-picture things: plain as day--once you know it's there! Anyway, I was once told that I had used weasel words (ouch).
