OP In re-reading Michael Grant's "The Ancient Mediterranean" he says Latin used the same
word for "time" and "weather" but did not give the word. "Tempus" seems to fit both
to some extent. Comments?
Incidentally, in searching, I found a page of 'TakeOUrWordForIt' I'd not seen before that
