Thank you, Bill, for posting about Karsh. He was truly a genius - obviously not just with a camera, but with people. The Winston Churchill shot may be his most famous but there are others dear to my heart, such as the one of Stephen Leacock and the one of Audrey Hepburn....My mother likes the one of Helen Keller but I have to confess I wasn't so keen on the double image - found it more confusing than anything else, since I thought perhaps the second person was Helen Keller's helper and teacher (can't remember her name).

Many, many great works. He captured people's souls in a way few portrait photographers manage.
