I agree with W'ON. What exactly is this puricle space and how is it applied? It's actually a subject I would think possibly of interest to musicians. I have an extraordinarily small hand. (Take my word for it.) It's really kind of silly that I took up piano, but I loved the sound of the instrument. You would never think to look at my hands that these could play much. But I have natural flexibility so that when my hand stretches out, the distance between my little finger and end of the thumb easily covers a 9th and I can just about reach a 10th--but, alas, can't, so that keeps me from playing some chords (just make modifications). So, I'm wondering about this puricle--if it's the space measured, which space is it--and is there a word for the measurement between the other fingers--other relationships?
