I noticed at the M-W website that they are now offering online access to Webster's Third New International Dictionary for the modest annual sum of $29.95 US. This also served to remind me that the OED CD-ROM is now available in an updated version -- the major improvement being that the CD is no longer needed to run, as long as you have enough hard-drive to hold the db.
