why don't they put McGuyver onto sorting out human cloning?
Oh - you mean he's *not* doing that? I figured that the reason he disappeared from our TV screens was that someone figured out he had valuable skills, and co-opted him into the secret service or something similar. Cloning could be it... Ok, I'll stop dragging things ridiculously off-topic now.. or at least, I'll try!

Actually, they did. The first clones are going to be famous athletes. The clones will be kept next to Walt Disney's head, to be thawed out if the original dies, retires, or is badly injured. Few people know that there's already a famous basketball player's clone waiting for the proper time to come out. Yep. an Iced Kareem Clone.

The storage location is refered to as Vault Disney, and the business is registered under the trade-name Clone Arranger.

- A person who constructs things by random messing around without following an explicit plan. This is just one extreme of the value-scale covered by bricoleur. This definition tends to be adopted by the expert craftsman trained in the specialty concerned (also in politics). At the other end it is a term of admiration expressed by the person with two left hands .

The "Clone Song" (mostly by Isaac Asimov), to the tune of "Home on the Range": http://www.cenara.se/users/ce00018/words.htm; scroll down to near the bottom, in the right column An aside: how intriguing that our spell-check, not recognizing Asimov, offers as an alternative asinine.

Dear SM: Heard the one about the guy who lost his ring on the beach, and left no stone unturned in looking for it. When he couldn't find it, he left no tern unstoned. When he went home and found his kids misbehaving, he left no stern untoned.(no pretense of originality.)
