Don't know whether you all have mentioned this, but there's a site that will accept new words. You can submit words, if you follow the submission guidelines, at:

http://www.pseudodictionary.com/

I would think we could provide a lot of new words on that site! For some strange reason, it seems to me that there was some discussion about this site recently....

Anyway, I just submitted a word, and, if it's accepted on the site, good--I suppose!

Book regards,
Wordwind

Oh, ok--it was mentioned once. tsuwm referred to it in a Winter Word thread, but there wasn't any discussion--and he also provided the link in case you wanted to look up the pseudoentry he provided.

Anyway, it's at least interesting reading there--and the temptation to have a word added to the pseudolexicon.

WW

The "other" Stephen Moore was born in Brixton, London in 1937 and is therefor much older than I. He provided the voices for Marvin (the depressed robot), the Whale, and Frankie Mouse in the 1981 television series "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." I have never met the fellow but, by similar reasoning to that which people apply to people who share the same Zodiacal sign, he must be one helluva nice fellow, having shared my name for lo these many years.

If he was born in Brixton, I bet he doesn't live there now ...

I grieve to report that Robert's infracaninophile is not there. It should be, of course.

In checking for it I stumbled across illegiterate - "illegitimate" and "illiterate"--a dumb bastard.
Reminiscent of our previously-noted ignoranus: A person who's both stupid and an asshole.
