You start using chat-room abreviations or AWAD terms in ordinary real-life conversation. ["Hon, when I saw that post I was ROTFL."]
Someone gave me their e-mail address and said it was: "lolkap@......". She couldn't understand why I started laughing. I explained that lol meand laugh out loud in chat! She said Lol is her husbands first name! Gave her a whole new meaning to his name!
