Ecdemic. Not in my dictionary. Formed by analogy with endemic and epidemic. I found a
few places where it was used as a technical word, having perhaps a bit of increased
precision over "foreign" because it is used to mean of foreign origin.
However "ecdemic talent" jars me a bit. What would "epidemic" talent, and "endemic" talent be?
I visited "Ningbo Today" and all I found was a discussion of Chiang Kai-Chek's birthplace.
Is talent analogous to a bacterial or viral disease?
I think the x-bonus quote could be capped. It says when life's road is steep, keep your
mind on an even keel. Perhaps it might be better to raise your sights, to aim high. Ad astra
per aspera, or something like that.
ecdemic
My (very early) idea about the mystery theme-- maybe the words will contain three or more letters in alphabetical order.
that was my thought also..

Would a pandemic talent be a talent that comes easily to everybody?
Your Happy Epeolatrist!
The "flu" that killed (I think) twenty million people at end of WWI was a pandemic. Please, God, do not send another one of those!
After seeing Tuesday's word, anopsia, it seems you did manage to guess the theme after just one day.
