It's my pleasure to announce Jackie as an administrator of AWADtalk. As a
member of this board, with her gentle approach she has helped to make this a
more friendly and pleasant place to hang around. In her new role she'll make
sure it continues to be an open community where everyone feels welcome to
contribute, communicate, and learn, without disrupting others.
Feel free to contact her if you have any concerns. Of course, I'll still be
available but you might get faster results with her.

Well, this Southern lady is shocked, that's for sure. [gasp e] Thank you, Anu, for the tremendous trust you have placed in me [oof, tugging against her chains e].  Essentially, I don't plan on doing much of anything. This is Anu's board. I have no right to impose my standards on anyone. Anything I do will be done with as careful a consideration as I am able to give, to the good of the board as a whole.

Dear Jackie: I doubt very much than any of us will regret your exercise of whatever power you now have, so long as it means you can delete potentially inflammatory posts. The board has been saddenly slow the past couple days. I hope that now it will pick up again.

The coolest part is that you get your name in red! Does this mean I don't have to install the *gutters on my house anymore? At least Anu chose the mostest - wonderfulest - bestest etc... ... don't tink I'm ganna lern ta spell just fer yew!

Well, anyone else would have probably raised more than a few eyebrows. I think that Jackie is probably the best person to administrate the Board, because she knows everyone and knows what the Board stands for.
