Quousque tandem, Catalina, patientia nostra abuteris?
How long, Cataline, will you abuse our patience?
-- M. Tullius Cicero - In Catalinam

Once again, Ken, you start up whining about being abused and you keep it up and keep it up. You just can't let anything go by; you can't let anything drop. You go on and on, piling up your supposed evidence, rehashing old grievances which the rest of us hoped and thought had been finally put to rest, opening up old sores and picking at your own scabs. Then if anyone rises to the bait, as too many have, you use that as a platform to launch more kvetches.

Don't you get it? I told you this the last time and I don't know how to repeat it more emphatically: YOU ARE A DAMN NUISANCE. Worse, you persist in stirring up ill feeling and setting some members against others. And you know what you are doing, so it's malicious on your part. As a lawyer, what would you call one who intentionally and maliciously stirs up strife and disturbs the peace of a community?

I'm sick of you and so, I believe, are most of the regulars here, with the exception of one newcomer who very obviously doesn't know what she is talking (writing) about, and one not-so-new-comer who is taken by your very real and apparent talents (as I once was) but who has not been around long enough to experience the disruption and ill feelings which arise as a result of your talent for troublemaking.

When you announced, in one famous thread, that you had had enough and were leaving (reminded me of "You won't have Dick Nixon to kick around any more"), I was at the same time saddened at the prospect of not seeing any more of your learned and interesting postings and glad that a source of contention was to be removed. You changed your mind, however. I'm now very sorry you did. It now appears that you are not satisfied with disturbing our peace on the board, you also want to put the kibosh on Ann's party, in the spirit of the one who figures if he can't enjoy something he'll make sure no one else can either. Unfortunately your two acolytes fell for this and want to help you out.

Your conduct can fairly be likened to certain individuals and parties in other parts of the world who are addicted to warfare with bombs and sneak attacks and who, when subjected to reprisals for their crimes, insist that they are victims who are being unfairly attacked. I am fully aware that this is a really foul analogy, especially in your case, but I chose it deliberately to get your attention, since nothing else seems to. Of course, it's only an analogy.

As you very well know, we have no way to enforce any kind of discipline on any member of this board. We can only appeal to those whom we view as offenders to discipline themselves. I appeal to you to do so.
