I scan the social pages and the births and deaths pages of the local paper, looking for fortuitous names. One of the obits had an intriguing one today:

Silver Dollar Coffey. Mrs Coffey was born in 1907, and unfortunately the obit does not explain how she was given her name. Wonderfully, Mrs Coffey's first husband was named Ruby. No children, though. They could have had Penny, Pearl, and Opal.

Last week our obits had some poor woman whose first name was Evangelist.
