how come the post icons are sometimes yellow, and sometimes orange? It don't seem to matter whether or not I've been into a thread recently or whether or not it has new posts. So - upon what does the colour choice depend? Anyone know? or is it just a freak of technology or a whim of the board or my compuker or something?

I find that the first time that a thread has a new post after I have booted (or rebooted, as I frequently have to do), that the icon is orange. Once I have gone into that thread, even if there are new posts, it is yellow (as long as I haven't rebooted, as I frequently have to do). Did I repeat myself?

Yeahbut....sometimes an icon is orange, even WITHOUT a new post to that thread. I'm still confused.....but thanks for trying to help, Angel!

Maybe I should just BOOT my compuker altogether....

I always call it my compuker....except when typing official documents, such as resumes....

In fact I have infected my entire fambly - now we all call it that and often have to go back and change the spelling in official documents, having naturally typed "compuker"!

Gad, I luuurrrrve using icons

don't worry people, I'm sure it's just a phase....
