This is my first post. I just found the book at a public library: *The Logophile's Orgy: Favorite Words of Famous People* by Lewis Burke Frumkes (Delacorte Press, 1995). 220 "writers, scientists, educators, humorists, and celebrities" contributed. It's out of print and has no index.
