Copied the following from Vol IV as it was getting really long! Thanks to Bridget96. If you would like to be added to, or removed from the list please send me (wow) a Private Message. *Please* do not rely on posting your birthday within the thread as I may miss it. Thank you
Good point, SE =) bridget96 isn't around much anymore, so folks were having a fairly long lag between PMing their birthdays and actually seeing them appear. i'd planned to restart the thread using caradea once VolumeIV reached 99 posts.
either way is fine with me, if you'd like to take over the birthday tracking, wow, but you'll have to have folks send them to you from now on instead, since i won't have editing privileges on a thread started by you [/run-on sentence]. i just checked the B96 account and there aren't any new additions (i added slithy just a couple of days ago).
cheers (and an early happy birthday to my favorite fellow cellist ~ BY!)
Well, this is odd. My April 23 birthday seems to have gotten dropped from Vol. IV, though it had been listed in Vol. II and III. wow, could you please re-add it to Vol. V? Thank you.
Well! Walked right into that one, didn't I? But no problem, glad to do it and take the onus off all you worker bees. So nice to be retired! Send any additions or changes to me, wow, via PM OK?
Well, Jackie, there just ain't no avoidin' it! Here comes another one! Hope you have the rootin'-tootin'est, bluegrass twangin'est birthday ever tomorrow! Make that wish, blow out all the candles, and have a wonderful year, a wonderful day! You deserve it!
Hope your birthday tomorrow, TEd, is full of delicious pranks and punny stories! Have a great time! And if you were a sailor coming into port it would be your berth day, wouldn't it? [groan-e...well, I had to sneak one in there for ya!]
Happy Birthday dear Jackie. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Jackie, happy birthday to you.[big balloons, party hats, and bourbon!!!
Let's think about this... Two people celebrate one birthday. Both write puns, but only one of you is corny. On this day they will receive twice the congratulations and twice the presents...
I got it! Jackie you are Ted and Ted you are Jackie.
Happy Birthday to the one of you from the all of me. May happy days chase you around like a dog in heat -forever.
I'm taking the day off work (it's required), and picking up my daughter and my granddaughter, then heading to pick up my dad and mom, then over the border into Canada to join my grandmother (87, God bless her!) and have our first five generation photo taken! Practicing my smiles here. Can't think of a better way to spend my day, than with my family. Thanks again ladies!
Angel, take the day off -- it's required! What you're planning is truly inspired. Kiss Mandy for me May your special day be Everything that you've dreamed and desired.
with friends like you, as well as a wonderful family (well with the exception of one brother).
I had a very nice natal day weekend, cleaning house and doing laundry while Peggy spent Saturday morning doing her regular Saturday stomp. That's where she goes to fabric shops, has a nice latte without the kids around, shops for herself, etc. I told her my birthday wasn't a reason to stay home. Saturday afternoon I played cribbage in my cribbage club and scored a 28-point hand, actually the third or fourth such I have had in the last year. Good for $40! When I got home Peggy had a nice snack tray with Newcastle Ale, some caviar, brie, and nice crackers. It was really quite TERRIBLE that no one else in the house liked the caviar, which I put on crackers with sour cream and chopped up spring onions. Yummy. (This is NOT going to turn into a food thread.)
T-bone steaks for dinner (with another Newcastle) and then a soak in the hot tub with my two kids and a neighbor kid. Not very relaxing, but that came later.
On Sunday I went to the local coffee shop, did the Sunday Times crossword puzzle, and got home in time for Peggy to go out errand running.
OH! What a wonderful day! Gramma was the hit of the afternoon! Everytime we would wheel her from one part of the building to another..."I get the baby!" and you don't argue with gramma! (I take after her) They shot about 4 rolls of film...so many pictures...still seeing stars in front of our eyes. Gramma was showing off to all the other residents! Even the staff at the nursing home went and got the digital camera and took pictures of all of us. It was the best way I can think of to spend the day, with the people I love the most.
