Here shall the Press the People's right maintain,
Unaw'd by influence and unbrib'd by gain;
Here patriot Truth her glorious precept draw,
Pleg'd to Religion, Liberty and Law.

My Dad believed in it and quoted it to me and I tried to live up to it during my years in newspapers.
