As the blizzard of seasonal ads drifts ever higher around us, comic blunders by dim bulbs will brighten our days. I offer the following to kick off a thread of seasonal advertising illiteracy:

Adjacent on the shelf was Peter Bowler's Superior Person's Book of Words. Trust me, it isn't.
