In reply to: what he thinks sets great designers apart and the response was that the best designers/ architects are avid readers. He didn't elaborate too much on this, but I'd like to know what you think about it, ---- Any art is about creating patterns. Patterns are dictated by imagination. The greater the imagination the greater the ability to see patterns. Reading stimulates the imagination. Therefore reading improves art.
