Directing this questions to you, as it is probably not of general interest (NOGI):

A friend, to whom I'd been raving about AWADtalk, tendered the word hemiphagic, claiming it means "having only one buttock". Does such a word exist? I had no success checking for it, but perhaps my friend mis-recalled (she claimed to know only the pronunciation, not the spelling) just enough to prevent me from finding the exact word. I suspect my friend mangled the root a bit, and the word is in fact something like "hemipygic" (with root as in steatopygic), but I couldn't find that either.

May I tap into your wisdom?
