Apologies - wrong topic, now posted here!
What an ingeneous lot you are. A high quality selection for you, votes to me by Thursday 2.00 pm GMT, which may allow some of you early risers in US to vote on Thursday. I am away Friday hence the early voting. I may get another round in (if I can think of a word), but then I am away for 3 weeks so I'll have to pass it over anyway.
Good luck! Rod.

saraad

just for fun (and 'cuz I'm bored with thinking about conspiracies) heres a play-by-play analysis:
1) possibly...
2) do they really race camels??
3) aren't all Arabic wars considered to be holy, or at least blessed by Allah?
4) that sounds like a scarab
5) I don' thin' so
6) ...
7) ...
8) a good one, but I don't believe it
9) I'm sure there's a word for this, but this ain't it...
10) another tassel? nope... [but I wish I knew the word for this, it'd be a good wwftd]
11) ...naah.
12) maybe...

there's a lot of sentiment here for "southern" concepts, but I kind of like the north... I think it's one of the bookends, 1 or 12. I'm going to say 12.

I'm convinced that all these Muslim and Asiatic definitions are red herrings, so I've got it narrowed down to no. 1 and no. 5. I really like five, but I'm voting for no. 1.

This sounded somewhat familiar when I first heard it. I'll go with 11.

I hope I won't get fined if I get it wrong since my supply of cattle is running pretty low, but I'll take 1 anyway!

Standing shoulder to shoulder with Max, huh? Well, that surely counts as the triumph of hope over experience, but you'll be in engaging company at least

I think this is the best batch of bluffs yet, and I've no idea which is right, so I'll just pick the first one that made me laugh - 1 - didn't take long.

(Although #8 is brilliant...)

Oh dear! All of these sound contrived... oh well. I'll go with 3 anyway.
