Reports tonight are that George is very close to losing his battle with cancer. This is sohard for me. Not as hard a John, but a lot harder than I thought. All those great songs
and memories. I mean, they were The Beatles, man...The Beatles. And here we are, still
talking about them like it was still yesterday. And my 17 year old niece just got into their
music with "1" last year...and she loves them, now. I just got her "Abbey Road!" Oh,
God...I just had to put this somewhere. Thanks, George, for everything...your music, the
impact you had on my life and the lives of countless others. The message of love and
peace you spread throughout the world. I know he would probably want us to be more
comfortable with all this...he did write "All Things Must Pass," and the process of
transition is his belief and his message. But it's tough.
Now's the time to play the music...especially "Here Comes The Sun." I'll wipe the tears off
my cheeks, now, and send him my love and my prayers. "Here comes the sun...but I say,
 it's all right...."

They will be etched deeply in the memories of those who lived through the years of the group's fantastic, phenomenal, magnificent presence in the musical scene. Those were the years!

Thank you George, forever and ever!

John, Paul, George, and Ringo...they got it off the ground, and it has never looked back. Sorry, kiddies, but WE are the rock-and-roll generation. What an influence upon society it, and we, had. Gray hairs notwithstanding,it's still in our blood. We know we cannot GO back, but we sure as heck can LOOK back, and remember...we're not dead yet.

Stand back, lads, while Jackie fires up her Vincent Black Lightning and rides off with the rest of the motorcycle gang! :)
Actually, Jackie, although I was born in 1968, I spent the 70's listening to the Beatles when everyone in my class liked the Bee Gees. too bad I never got to see them in concert. Did you, by any chance, ever get to se the Fab Four live on stage?

My cousin wanted to go and see the Beatles when they were touring in Zild in whenever, 1964, I think. Her mother let her go provided she took me. I was, oh, eleven, at the time. I remember all the screaming, but I don't think I actually got to hear the Beatles. The screaming drowned their pitifully inadequate amplification out. What they were using as their main system was less powerful than the foldback systems my band used! BTW, cuzzie-bro screamed as loud as any of 'em.

The idiot also known as Capfka ...

CapK struggles to figure out how old he was in 1964, or whenever: I was, oh, eleven, at the time.
Aha!!! You missed being a full-blown boomer by mere months. If you were indeed a f-bb, you'd know exactly how old you were and what you were doing, screaming and foldback systems aside, during all the significant events of the 60s.chemical influences aside

Now what was it I had for breakfast???

Sorry it looks like I'm gonna miss y'all, but if you want any hints about Hotlanta, E me
