Concerning alcoholic intake :

NEVER mix the grape and the grain.

So wine followed by brandy/cognac is fine.
But never grape-based followed by grain-based beverages.
Or vice-versa!
And a B-Complex, and a large glass of water with two aspirin or Tylenol before bed helps a lot!
