Please PM or Email me with the Email address to which you would like the invitation sent.
We've had some great conversation in the mlive site, and hope to increase participation with Yahoo.
I'd like to establish a schedule or system so that people have at least one or two times a week when it is fairly reliable that someone will be in the chatroom to talk to. Scheduling is a bit difficult since we cover the globe and hence the time zones, but I am open to suggestions and requests.
Also, once we have folks signed up, I can do group emailings to notify people of impending chats. Just let me know when you want one.
This will be a very busy week for me coming up, but I will try to visit both the mlive and yahoo sites at least once a day. Email or PM me if you have a particular time you'd like.
I'm registered (thanks!) But I can't yet figure you how to get in (I wanted to try before tonight, Mac and all...)
(1) Go to http://edit.yahoo.com/config/login?.src=grp&.done=http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/awadchat
(2) Log in with your chat name and password; hit the login button
(3) You will then go to the AWADchat club page. On the left will be a menu of various functions you can perform. On the right 2/3 of the page are sections with further links, including the Founder's Message; Overview; Contact; Chat Room; and Stats.
To go to the Chat Room, click on the "enter" which is to the immediate right of the title to the "Chat Room" section.
(4) You are now in the AWAD chat room. The room first loads with voice chat capability, but we won't be using that right now. To disable voice chat, click on the "stop voice" button which is under the chat display section.
(5) Start typing in the text box underneath the display section to start chatting!
