At the request of Sparteye, I will administer a couple of rounds of Hogwash (I think she just wants to keep me from getting too many points). Send me your definitions by Friday, June 8 at 4:00 pm EDT, and be ready for a new word Friday morning. Vote by Monday morning, y'all. The only quirk this time is that two bluff definitions were very similar. I have combined the two into one, so as not to make them obvious, and if anyone votes for that definition, both submitters will score points. Sound fair? Well, too bad.
Hi, folks! Just back from a software crash! (Watch out for Windows ME, it picks up "things" that damage the files...I had to restore my hard-drive, so if you're running it copy everything important!
Guess I just missed the vote...but I'll venture C just for the record.
I would have thought there's no problem unless stating 'I know this to be true'. And even then, thinking aloud, people are free to decide the metatruth of the assertion ("maybe she's bluffin' me into her daftinition...!")
(maybe she's bluffin' me into her daftinition...!)
Good point, maverick!...for, as we all know from a previous thread, many of us here are Master "Sandbaggers!" It's all part of the game! So, go ahead...let them think you're holding a good hand!
