Thank you B96-- and a very happy birthday to you Scribbler! I wish every one the kind of day i am having– it beautiful-- clear skies, warm breezes, almost tropical (85 degrees f.) The cherry blossoms are in bloom, as are the apples, and lilac will begin to scent the air in a day or two.. It is a glorious spring day!

Your well-wishes mitigate the concerns concomitant with ever advancing years (although, as often noted, such concerns are devoutly to be wished when "The Grim Alternative" is considered. Thanks to all for your thoughtfulness. Helen, we share this natal day with one another, but it is also a day celebrated for thousands of years. Since I have inside information that tells me that there is little chance that our satin will be at a computer on her birth anniversary (and I know she won't be here the day before), let me start this a li'l bit early by offering the "Happiest Birthday of them All" wishes.
how perfectly timed! I just commented in a PM that this thread should be revived-- Many happy returns of the day to Satin-- and my most abject apologies to all those whose birthday's i missed!
I'm still waiting for my partner to git down to business and have our baby (due date was yesterday - eep!). But there's a decent chance that while you're away from AWAD celebrating your birth, I'll be away from AWAD celebrating (or assisting with) another.
As I will be in Florida for the next week, I will be having my normal case of AWAD withdrawal-ARGGGH, but I will be with my daughter so I will try not to miss you all too much.

To Bingley: When I leave Florida next Thursday, the only thing I will be thinking is I can't wait to see what I missed here. That will last until I log on and find out that it will probably take me two weeks just to catch up.
