OP Thanks, Jackie. I am going with Beethoven; your response convinced me. My reluctance resulted from my search of translating sites which said bietsuiker = beet and hof or tuin = garden. I couldn't quite make Beethoven from that. This is a world-wide language-related trivia contest, and I am one of four in the lead with five weeks to go so I'm not taking any chances.
