Yesterday's Word of the Day, abligurition, is my new second-favorite word. (I still like 'defenestration' best.) I feel that there must be a word that means second-favorite, but I don't know it. I recall the 'penultimate' discussion a while back, so I could say that 'abligurition' is the penultimate word and just let it be assumed that it is a list of superiority where last is best and I am the only arbiter, but that seems needlessly vague and rather arrogant coming from a person who doesn't know all the words.
