One thing I'll guarantee: the doctor did not lick his fingers to facilitate counting the bills, as I have seen so many restaurant cashiers do. When I was working in the mental hospitals, some of the female patients used to return from passes with secreted currency, but I was never asked to
either remove or count it, thank goodness. I'm sure the totals were far less than two grand.
