This is the background for it. (I hope you enjoy meeting up with this again as much as I did):

"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less."

Given the context, perhaps Humpty's definition of "glory" would be equally apt for a motto here.
