Then later in my latter years I

But the simple-minded hippie thoughts helped make our Culture simple-minded. And I don't like hippies to this day,

How does REDUCER become REDUCED(What happened to the
second "R")REDUCED preceded REDUCER. Now REDUCED follows it again
changing a c to an X and ignoring the second R in REDUCER?

then REDUXED, then EXUDED.

PLEASE SHOW ME THE PROGRESSION.
REDUCED>REDUCER>REDUCED>(C>x){forgetting an "r"}REDUXED????
