Wrongo Lukeo, your math if off. The Roman numeral V should be connected to the following I making six rather than five.
Then the sum total would be...
D (500) C (100) L (50) X (10) VI (6) which totals...uh...
Nevermind.

Actually , since you have XCDVIL you have XC is 90, D is 500 minus the preceding 90 is 410, VI is 6, L is 50 minus the preceding 6 is 44. 410 + 44 = 454, which is OK anyway because the Number of the Beast is actually 616, not 666.
What it really is is:

S+19 A+1 T+20 A+1 N+14 = 55
Exault his high station by multiplying by 10 = 550
But everyone knows that the Devil is Dead though it is said that SATAN LIVES
L+12 I+9 V+22 E+5 S+19 = 67
550 + 67 = 617 but everyone knows that the devil is in fact dead so subtract the devil and you'll get 616 the mark of False Beast.
