Yours was 'good to be,' Luke ... also as usual! Now we'll patiently await the appropriate historical moment. Happy Trails ...

Maybe Wofa is in jail. Or worse, he could be watching Dancing With The Stars on his wide screen TV. Luke, you 'de whip, call up Wofa and tell him that one monkey don't stop no show.

Sorry, folks, busy at work. Maybe someday I'll go halftime and cut down to 40 hours a week.

From OBLITERATE we can get a three-part leaf: TRILOBATE... but couldn't we go back to TOLERABLE and just do something less L-->A
ELABORATE ?.

ELABORATE but look, we must act like we are TOLERABLE here and accept obscure words like > A -> T

And olly (good to see you on this thread, however)
that word has two letter changes instead of our usual one.
Yet we are almost in a pickle so it could be had.

JJ telling Wofa to get off the TV would be like telling the

Dangit, Luke, fifteen lousy seconds!

OK, one T too many. Remove it from Huddy L, suck it in, and we're REBELTED.
(Though I must say I liked LIBERATED better.)

(P.S. Google gives Dancing With The Stars for "Mad Max DWTS".)

CLAMBERED [B -> I ] Dance today has
RECLAIMED the graceful dancing motion of a man being hung until dead along with the artful antics of a chicken running around with it's head cut off. It might be pretty

I know there are online 'scramble' sites, but I like to
do this game with pen and paper. Keep the old brain
working and all that. Must confess I am addled
over dreadily. Had one from readily, but cannot get
back to it. So it's in your hands JJ,wofa, endy, olly
or anyone else.

Dear Luke, sometimes we hope that if we think
VARIEDLY we could say that Bach, Handel, and Mozart together might equal one Beethoven.

We would be wrong but don't tell Bach and Mozart.
And we should not mention the great Handel in the same breath. smile

No Luke, I wasn't being nasty. You jumped the word I entered to follow your word PALLED which was LEAPED. Then you played CALLED off your own word PALLED ignoring my LEAPED. It's no big deal but I though you would thank me profusely for pointing out your mistake. blush

It's not Alzheimers, JJ, but it is definitely part-timers,
some-timers, or half-timers. I don't know what you said, but
if you say so, I agree.

thank you

If you please. What is the word now?

Take another look at JJs post above (# 213351, from 9:02 PM yesterday [barring typos]) and click on the SHOW ME button. The word LEAPED isn't in BOLD, but it is all caps. That seems to be the word on the table at the moment, and you can't go from LEAPED to CALLED in one step.

Let me add an S to LEAPED to move things along, since much has
ELAPSED since then.
