How to find words in Portuguese with special characters as ç?

I hit the single apostrophe directly followed by c
' c = ç

But you can find internetpages for special signs too. Welcome.

Depends on what OS you have. Windows OS's have a set of ALT sequences you can use. Hold down the ALT key and enter a 4 digit number on the numeric keypad. Note: some laptops don't have the numeric keypad, but you probably have a Character Map function hidden away as a pop-up menu when you click on the Windows logo key. Macs have another way of doing it. Linux machines generally have to use a Character Map.

Yes to all of the above, but often I find a document with the character I need, and then cut and paste it into my new document...

Or go one step further: create your own reference cheat-sheet with your special characters in it, for archival purposes.
