When I saw the preview of the names, I expected Nelly to be nervous nelly, which is a phrase I have always heard and wonder about its origin other than the obvious alliteration. Never even heard nice nelly before.
I thought it would be Negative Nelly.
Welcome, it's New Nelly to me as I never heard of nice Nelly before.

I've always heard "nervous nelly" too. My grandmother used it
when we fidgeted in church.
