Last week's theme (malapropisms, etc) made me remember that venerable collection of student errors hilariously recounted at http://www.snopes.com/humor/lists/student.asp As for deliberate distortions of old words, cleverly formed into new ones with witty definitions, a search of your site under "mensopause" might amuse.
