Today being Valentine's Day, I would say that Dionysian is an appropriate word. It's also my birthday, and today's word used to be appropriate to that, as well. At the age of sixty-five, however, I tend more toward the Apollonian, or maybe even the hypnotic (Hypnos was the god of sleep).
