Perhaps they don't know where to look. Not everyone is so computer literate. It's like a slap in the face. But, I think *everyone should be slapped in the face until they learn how to use 1) OneLook (for definitions), 2) Wikipedia (for encyclopaedic info), and 3) Google (for general searches). And, it's simple to learn - just add .com to each of the above and use the resulting search box.

As opposed to those who were too lazy to look it up for themselves. In this case it was one whose aim was to start a conversation, rather than seeking actual information. Seems to have worked!
I'll take a wild guess and say that VV referred to vavavoom.

Yep. I was born perfect (mom says that's what the doctor said anyway) but I have declined greatly as life has progressed. 'Some' people just don't realize that everyone else isn't a 'know-it-all' and as well as looking things up believe in asking others for explanations of commonly used phrases and info being used in the forums.
