I came across this whilst searching through my Chambers--isn't it just a lovely word? Invokes images of light, energy, and joy--for me, anyway. Effervescence! Exuberance!

adjective
becoming young; growing youthful
Origin: L juvenescens, prp. of juvenescere, to become young < juvenis, young

yes...a bouncy little word Jackie.

Its a sad thing that as we get older, we can afford the kinda toys the young are better equipped to play with LOL

A wonderful word and new to me.
This time of year in the NE makes us all feel juvenescent. The paint brush that is the tight curl of blue flag and the deep, elegant (juvene)scent of the royal blue lupine do it for me.

After the ice and snow, spring always does that to me too.
Great word, Jackie.
