I always wanted a pet trilobyte, but I guess I'm late again. Also are their young called trilobits?

a pet trilobyte.... -:^) You could always take a wood louse or five as pets as they are the surviving family, but it will be hard to distinguish Eleanor from Gertrud Johnny Roderick and Daisy. @Candy Yes, but I cannot grasp the past of 400,000,000 million years. Cannot imagine the time stretch. I marvel at the beautiful thing.
