CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE WORD GROUP, THAT THIS GROUP OF WORDS ARE BELONGING TO ?
ASSESS
BANANA
POTATO
GRAMMAR
DRESSER
REVIVE
UNEVEN

IT IS NOT THE DOUBLE LETTERS, SOME HAVE 6 LETTERS & SOME HAVE 7.
BUT THEY ALL HAVE SOMETHING IN COMMON WITH EACH OTHER ?

THEY ARE NOT PALENDROMES

BUT ALMOST,!!
YOU HAVE TO MOVE THE FIRST LETTER TO THE REAR OF THE WORD,& THEN THEY SPELL BACKWARDS, IS THERE A NAME OF THIS GROUP OF WORDS ? AND IS THERE ANYMORE WORDS THAT CAN BE ADDED TO THIS LIST, THANKS

"EMACS" is a text editor with a built-in LISP interpreter. (LISP is a programming language.)

"EMACS" was also the acronym for my department name in school - "Engineering Math and Computer Science."

I don't recall ever having seen the term used in any other way.

Have you tried checking with a forum that specializes in puzzles or word games?

I think the 'caps key' must be stuck smirk

mine did that once when I spilled a bottle of coke on the key board. The only way to right it is, to buy a new one. (key board that is..)

NOT ON MY COMPUTER. I PUT THEM THERE BECAUSE IT IS
CONSIDERED YELLING. I THINK IT LOOKS NEAT. I MAY JUST
CONTINUE TO USE IT EVERYWHERE.

It's a convention of online netiquette, and going against this sort of convention is rather like singing off-key on purpose. But I'm sure you understand this.
netiquette

It's hard to adjust to capitals as no books or papers are written in capitals and they are kind of ugly as a whole block of text. frown
I like the cursives. ( or how do you call them )

SHUT UP Avy.....its too easy for him. Its much harder to hit the 'shift key' to get a capital than it is to use the 'caps lock' all the time!

i vow to not use any capitals until luke desists......

Hmm--perhaps I should try moving this thread somewhere else: the last (and only) time I tried, the thing vanished into the ether, never to be seen again.

Nah, leave it. The point was empathy for someone who
had troubles, something sorely lacking at times by some.
