I'm just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the main forum page loading? Checking the Activity in my browser(Safari 5.0.3) shows me that this file: http://partner.googleadservices.com/gampad/google_ads2.js is the one that is holding things up. It usually adds several seconds (10-15) to the load time. just curious....

I am not, but I have had myself "logged out" and had to
log in three times today, even tho' I have the box
checked to "remember me".

My lovely laptop is nearing death...the sound fluctuates on and off, it randomly shuts down, restarts or doesn't hibernate when told, it is creating and deleting folders...funnily enough one thing that it doesn't do (when the office tech is not "not responding") is slow my internet connection down and loads things extremely fast...it is very odd what different computers do with the same things and the same websites...

Haha! If you ever feel like reading a book with an insidious AI that manipulates people have a go at William Gibson's Neuromancer - written before the Internet really arrived and before hackers existed - very good book and it raises the question. Can computers write music?
p.s. a good joke a friend of mine plays is logging into someone elses account (her younger sister's) and sending herself emails...ie
