A scissor's screw is only half a screw. If half a screw is a toozle it could be A

Where are you looking, Dear One? My page for the W & F forum shows: "Voting has opened on TOOZLE".

If you scroll up, Jackie, you'll see it got changed to something about a hairdresser for a bit. It threw me off, too, so Bran has company in her frustration!

I'm going with the Scots on this one; I'll take H.

My page for the W & F forum shows: "Voting has opened on TOOZLE".

My WF page shows it too, but I hardly use it. I always jump straight to 'active topics' where I know what's running. (unless it's been diguised)
Not a heartbraking issue; I'll remember checking the W&F. smile

believe it or else: in more than ten years of (over)use of these forums, I have *never* clicked on "Active Topics"† - thus my utter confusion at this plaint.

† - FWIW, or for the rookies, when I reach the WTalk homepage via bookmark, I immediately know if there are any new messages from the first column in the General Topics table. if that icon is colored (yellow), then you have new posts to read. if you click on the respective forum name, the next page shows unread subjects, again with a yellow icon in column one. clicking on such a subject takes you to the first unread post therein, and bobsyeruncle.

Utter confusion? That's worse than what I had. Both on the yellow flapped General Topics and Active Topics when someone changed the initial title of a topic it means searching unless it becomes obvious from the contents of the post (as in the anagram game). Only on Forums the topic title stays unchangeable. Just ask * Twosleepy * .

sorry for being obtuse on this minor point, but if I see there is a new post(s) in 'Wordplay and fun', then go there, I quickly can see if there is a new post(s) in 'Voting has opened on Toozle'

don't you play the anagrams game, where the title is ever-changing?!
