I liked Anu's intro today: body parts strewn all over. I had just watched Nanny McPhee wherein the kids got rid of nanny #17 or 18 who ran screaming from the house saying the others had eaten the baby. Actually it was chicken, but it worked. The nanny was anything but supercilious.

Sounds more like she was super-silly-ous! Extremely silly movie with Emma Thompson, Thomas Sangster. Good for kids.

maybe even soo-purr-silly-us Now, this word fits the movie. I hear that there is even a Nanny McPhee the Sequel. Not sure, though.

Leonard Nimoy, as the character Dr Spock in Star Trek can do it and of course Sean Connery too....but for most of us its impossible. I can raise both eyebrows at once, but not one at the time. Raising or cocking the eyebrow may be an evolutionary trait: baboons, mandrills and cebus monkeys are said to raise their eyebrows as a threat gesture. I've lost the train of thought here.....but I can raise eyebrows individually or together, or in sequence of one then the other. I can easily do Spock's finger salute, wiggle my ears, or nostrils. Must be related to some monkey species.
