I don't know much anything about soccer, but given the shock that was expressed when we got as far as we did, I wasn't surprised at our loss to Ghana.(Note: yes, I know this is a language board. Special occasions warrant, y'know.)
What I like about soccer is that you can see the players in their real shape, not wrapped up in matrasses, pads, helmets and other furniture ( specially when they are
worth looking at ). Yes, U.S was doing vey well for a country that considers soccer for sissies.
