Obvious candidates in "dentigerous" are "tiger" and "gnu." Would "runt" - an unusually small animal - also qualify?

Am assuming names capable of being read out directly from within the word, not anagrammatic ones. So I think 'tiger' certainly counts.

For today's, I presume it is 'asp'.
