Summer Sight

The energetic pull of the sun and Mother Earth’s gravity,
Shape the long stems of our Japanese Kerria bush,
With powers wondrous, unseen, extraordinary and precise.
Long squirts of brown-green,
Hung with hot looking yellow-white lanterns,
Make fonts of spheres, that seem to be
A big stopped-action sparkler of blooms.
