The Louisville Orchestra gave a performance this evening at the ampitheatre very close to my house. It had been quite a long time since I've seen them; the temp. was about 70ºF (21.1 C) with a light breeze--in other words, perfect. Such a pleasant experience!
The event started with a recognition of firms that had contributed to the Fund for the Arts; then the music began. The theme was music that has been used in movies; they played parts of larger works. It is a world I miss. The program:
