In the etymology of today's word there is a link to a boustrophedon where the 'backward' lines are written upside down.
I noticed that the upside down backward seemed to read more easily than the non turned backward writing. I found two examples of either method.

As a left hander I can do the backward writing easy (though not upside down) but I always found it hard to read. The upside down reading seems easier. Any idea why?
