They've a temper, some of them -- particularly verbs, they're the proudest -- adjectives you can do anything with, but not verbs -- however, I can manage the whole lot of them! All one needs to do to rassle even the proudest verb to the ground is to convert it to a phrasal verb. There's not a single verb but it can be subdued by a simple particle.

That's even better. The nouned verb is so ashamed by what it perceives as a demotion tantamount to being fired that it will do anything you ask of it.
