Okay, if we change the X to B we get INCITABLE, like a near-riot

or change the X to M and get MILITANCE, which is North Korea's posture at the moment

but those are both on the forced side. I like better changing X to S, which lets us be
INELASTIC

(extra credit: X -> C is for Leibowitz, almost, if you drop the second I)

Is that a word? I don't find it in OneLook.com or even on Google, except in Spanish or Dutch or trademarked.

Enplastic isn't but it only lacks one tiny change; with some elasticity we can change N to M and the word is allright
EMPLASTIC which offers possibilities.

There is a local office site where they
laminate, and they use it saying:
"Enplastic all your important papers here".
So....
I don't know. Just because they use it does not make it a word.
I checked today and the letter is N after the E: enplastic.
